Once we have dispatched your order, you’ll receive your tracking details from Australia Post to the email you entered at checkout. If you haven’t received anything, we suggest checking your spam folder.

Different cameras take different films, so here’s a quick list:

SX-70 Camera’s: Polaroid SX-70 film.  Available in both colour and Black & White

MiNT SLR670’s: : Polaroid SX-70 film. Available in both colour and Black & White

InstaFlex TL70 and InstantKon RF70: Instax Film and Polaroid 300 film.

This can be frustrating at first, but once you know the trick, you’ll know it forever.

In most cases, this issue comes down to lighting. SX-70 cameras have a low ISO (ISO100), so it requires a lot of light to take good photos – especially when in doors. The Mint Flash Bar 2 can solve the problem.

When the photo ejects from your camera, it’s critical to shield the film from sunlight in those first few seconds (to prevent over-exposing the photo). It’s best to let the photos develop in dark or low light environment as well. For B&W pictures, it is highly advisable to shield it from strong sunlight. Store unopened packs of film in the fridge, but do not put the film in the freezer. When you’re planning to take some photos, remove the pack from the fridge and allow it to adjust to room temperature for around an hour before use.

Online purchases may be returned for refund within 14 days provided the product is returned in original condition and a receipt is provided if change of mind occurs. Please note, this will incur a 15% restocking fee which will be deducted from total purchase price when your refund is processed. Exceptions apply: We cannot accept the return of opened film packages; all film packages must be in an unopened condition in order for us to offer a refund. This is due to the perishable nature of the product which is protected inside its original packaging. Once the seal of the film box has been broken, the film is no longer in a controlled environment and is highly sensitive to environmental and shipping-related variables. Please also note that the customer is responsible for the costs of the return shipment and bears the risk of the return – so pack the items carefully! The above applies primarily to unwanted products, as opposed to products which are exhibiting a manufacturing defect. If you have purchased products through our online shop which you believe are defective in any way, please get in touch and your claim will be evaluated under our limited warranty. All cameras sold at mint-camera.co.nz have a 12 month warranty period. If your camera is faulty, please email nz.sales@brandsaustralia.com so we can find a solution for you.
